How to link C by GE smart lights to Google Home in 7 steps

Even better, if the light is in the same room as your Google Home speaker, you won't need to name it. It could be any command that the Google home can understand…except calling routines, that does not seem to work as well. Adding other C by GE light bulbs can be done through the exact same way as before. Just make sure as you add bulbs, to name them so that Google Assistant can know which light to operate when you ask.

The issue involves C by GE light bulbs set up directly through the Google Home app not responding to commands. This includes both voice and in-app controls with Assistant returning a “can’t connect” message that’s not particularly descriptive.
